Hula @ C&H Art Space
A thin strip of fabric elegantly dances through the air. Its simple movements make a
graphic, continuous motion within the room. Reminiscent of a rhythmic gymnast it also brings to mind a
merciless wrangler whipping his lasso. Juxtaposing the violent motion of the machine against the
subtle, elegant motion of the ribbon, the work creates temporary continuously dissipating drawings,
always changing and hypnotic.
